Apple has launched the iPad Pro 2022 refresh in India along with the global markets. The new iPad Pro, which comes in 11-inch and 12.9-inch models, is essentially the same as last year's old iPad Pro. The biggest difference comes in the underlying hardware. The iPad Pro 2022 is powered by Apple's M2 chip (the 2021 models are M1-based). This obviously opens up a lot of performance improvements, including ProRes video recording. Apple claims that the M2's 8-core processor is up to 15% faster than the M1, while the 10-core GPU can deliver up to 35% faster graphics. Machine learning tasks will also be improved thanks to M2's 16-core neural engine.

Most competing tablets have struggled to match the iPad's performance. On the contrary, M2 should widen this gap further. Apple is also introducing an all-new "hover" feature to this generation of Apple Pencil. This appears to use a combination of hardware and software (iPadOS 16) to allow the iPad Pro to display "up to 12mm" above the display, allowing the user to create markup before , so you can easily create sketches and illustrations.

Other specs are almost the same. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro features a mini LED-based Liquid Retina XDR display. The 11-inch model uses a Liquid Retina display. Up front, we have the same 12MP ultra-wide TrueDepth camera with a 122-degree field of view. This is still in portrait mode for some reason, but entry-level iPads have been updated in landscape mode at the same time. On the back, it has a 12MP wide-angle camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera. The package is rounded out by quad speakers, USB C, Wi-Fi 6E, and 5G. 

iPad Pro is available in up to five configurations (128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, 2TB) and two finishes (Silver and Space Grey).
